Lockets are made to be engraved.

The flat face of a locket, its interior lid, the back of a charm, the surface of a dog tag — all make excellent canvases for engraving. We work on the surface that best fits your text and the piece\'s design. For lockets we can engrave both the face (monogram or initials) and the interior lid (a date or short inscription) — a message that only opens when the locket does.

BOTH THE FRONT AND BACK?

Yes — front and back are priced separately. Front engraving is visible; back engraving is private. Many clients engrave a monogram on the front and a date or short phrase on the back.

CAN YOU ENGRAVE
INSIDE A LOCKET LID?

Yes — interior lid engraving is a specialty. The surface area is smaller, so we recommend short inscriptions (up to 20 characters comfortably). We show you a layout first.

HOW MUCH
DOES PENDANT ENGRAVING COST?

Single-surface engraving: $30-55. Both front and back: $50-90. Interior locket lid: $35-60. We quote after reviewing the piece and the text length.
